Extension Data:
- Session tokens (to keep you logged in securely)
- Timezone (used only to reset your daily usage limit at your local midnight)
- Usage statistics (number of AI generations per day, for enforcing plan limits)
- Custom tones and writing style samples you choose to save
LinkedIn Content:
- Text content of LinkedIn posts you choose to generate comments on
- This content is sent to our servers only when you click the “Generate Comment”
button — we do not read, monitor, or collect your LinkedIn browsing activity
Support Communications:
- Messages you send us via the support form
What We Do NOT Collect:
- Your LinkedIn password (we never see it)
- Your LinkedIn browsing history or profile data
- Comments, likes, or actions you take on LinkedIn
- Any personal data from other websites
- HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To provide AI-generated comment suggestions
- To manage your account and subscription
- To enforce daily usage limits fairly
- To respond to your support requests
- To improve our service and troubleshoot issues
- THIRD-PARTY AI PROVIDERS
To generate comments, we send the LinkedIn post text and your tone selection to
third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic). These providers process
the request and return a generated comment. We do not share your identity
(email, name) with these AI providers.
- DATA SHARING
We do not sell your personal information or LinkedIn content to anyone.
We may share limited information with trusted service providers strictly for:
- Hosting our servers
- Processing payments
- User authentication
- AI comment generation
All third parties are contractually bound to protect your data.
- DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
- Data is stored securely on our servers with industry-standard encryption
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
- Session tokens expire automatically for your security
- We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as required
by law
- INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Our servers and AI providers may be located outside your country. By using
Leadmate, you consent to your data being processed in these regions.
